Lobmeyr No.267 Alpha Garden of Paradise Tumblers
The charming Garden of Paradise Tumblers features 6 different and unique hand-painted designs featuring birds and branches celebrating the beauty of nature. The exotic birds, perched on their branches, enjoy the purity of clear water in a protected space. This delicate floral design is realized on the iconic Lobmeyr Alpha Tumbler No. 267 in the rosalin or pink color. The Garden of Paradise bird and branch delicate designs were created by London based Illustrator and Watercolorist, Tatiana de Nicolay.
An iconic Lobmeyr Alpha Drinking Set no. 267 was originally designed in 1952 by Hans Harold Rath. The Alpha series is based on a Baroque copper beaker from the collection from the MAK Vienna updated for postwar families seeking elegance and practicality. Alpha is made from Lobmeyr’s renowned muslin glass; ultra-thin and hand blown, it is both sublimely delicate, remarkable resilient and fits beautifully in the hand. Enjoy any type of drink in the Alpha tumblers. Also available plain without any hand-painting in clear and 6 translucent colors: green, blue, yellow, pink, amethyst and gray.
Suitable for water, juice, wine or any beverage.
Handcrafted in Austria.
