Venini Acqua Textured Tea Container

Acqua Tea Container was designed to hold matcha green tea powder, since it is the star of the Japanese tea ceremony. It can be used as a container for any small objects.

The Acqua Textured collection takes its inspiration from nature in Japan. The collection consists of a Bud Vase, Water Vase, and Tea Container. Their soft sinuous shapes are symbolic of pebbles while their striking texture recalls water flowing in a mountain stream. The delicate color is most intense where the glass is its thickest, becoming paler and paler until crystal clear. Designed by Michela Cattai for Venini in 2019. Hand-crafted from mouth-blown Murano glass, Acqua Textured is a limited edition of 19 art pieces each.
