Starbursts of crystal beads and brilliant metal dazzle in the Lobmeyr Sputnik Floor Lamp. The nickel plated brass frame is adorned with sputnik elements, wooden balls with Swarovski crystals jutting out. Designed by Peter Rath in 1974, who was inspired by his father’s chandelier design for the Metropolitan Opera in New York. Requires 7 x E14, 420 max wattage bulbs.

Founded in 1823, J. & L. Lobmeyr is a family-owned Viennese glassware company known for its crystal stemware, accessories, and lighting. In 1966, Lobmeyr designed the iconic ‘Metropolitan Chandelier’ for the New York Metropolitan Opera. Today, the brand continues to innovate with collections like ‘Script’ by Bodo Sperlein.
