R + D.LAB

R+D.LAB founded in 2006, by Jay Vosoghi and Sara Mostofi, out of a desire to  explore product design using natural materials and artisanal methods to create highly functioning yet beautifully designed  products.  The Research and Design Lab studio is a place where designers have a collaborative exchange with classically trained artisans and small traditional manufacturers.

R+D.LAB is based in Italy.  The Design Process is uncomplicated and clear using natural materials.  Designs are made in a traditional manner but with unexpected combinations in aesthetics and  texture.  Pure and timeless design hand crafted by artisans with a reverence for heritage and an unhurried process.
