The Herend Golden Edge Bread and Butter Plate adds a finishing detail to the formal table, its petite round of white porcelain finished with a single hand-painted band of gold. Designed in the early twentieth century for Count Hadik, Golden Edge celebrates a noble Hungarian family and remains one of Herend’s most enduring patterns.

Measuring 6 inches in diameter, the Herend Golden Edge Bread and Butter Plate sits above the forks in a classic place setting, holding bread, rolls and butter within easy reach. It also serves beautifully for canapés, cookies or a slice of cake, a small piece that completes a Golden Edge service.
