The Herend Golden Edge Dinner Plate is the foundation of the Golden Edge service, its luminous white porcelain finished with a single hand-painted band of gold. Created in the early twentieth century for Count Hadik, the pattern honors a noble Hungarian family and has graced refined tables for more than a century.

Measuring 10.5 inches in diameter, the Herend Golden Edge Dinner Plate offers ample space for the main course while keeping a classic, balanced proportion. We added a note saying that we were hoping to use them … More for our Christmas Eve dinner if at all possible. On December 23 we got a note that the bowls were ready to ship and Kneen & Co shipped them out next day delivery without charging and without even seeking acknowledgement for helping to make our Christmas Eve with family so special.
