The Herend Golden Edge Salad Plate brings understated polish to the first course, its white porcelain finished with a single hand-painted band of gold. Golden Edge traces its origins to the early twentieth century, when Herend created the pattern for the noble Hungarian Hadik family.

Measuring 7.5 inches in diameter, the Herend Golden Edge Salad Plate is sized for salads, appetizers and small plates, and it layers neatly over the dinner and service plates in a formal place setting. Equally suited to everyday lunches, it brings a quiet note of gold to the table at any hour.

On December 23 we got a note that the bowls were ready to ship and Kneen & Co shipped them out next day delivery without charging and without even seeking acknowledgement for helping to make our Christmas Eve with family so special.
