The Herend Golden Edge Service Plate sets the stage for a formal table, its generous expanse of white porcelain finished with a single hand-painted band of gold. Golden Edge was created in the early twentieth century for Count Hadik, honoring one of Hungary’s noble families, and remains a defining Herend classic.

Measuring 11 inches in diameter, the Herend Golden Edge Service Plate works as a charger beneath dinner plates, salad plates and rim soups, framing each course with quiet elegance. It can also be used as a dinner plate for a more generous presentation, a versatile foundation for holiday dinners and formal entertaining.

On December 23 we got a note that the bowls were ready to ship and Kneen & Co shipped them out next day delivery without charging and without even seeking acknowledgement for helping to make our Christmas Eve with family so special.
