This absolutely one-of-a-kind setting is comprised of seven plates that, together, display a hand painted map of the night sky as it appeared at the time and place of the purchaser’s birth, or any other significant date and location of the purchaser’s choosing: wedding, graduation, etc. When ordering My Private Sky, purchasers will be asked to provide Nymphenburg with the date and place they want to have represented; this information will be processed through software created by the designer of the setting for a personalized star chart that will then be painted by hand across the seven plates, with about 500 stars, nebulae, planets and constellations painted on each service. The result is a setting of opulence, wonder and individuality. Porcelain with hand painting. Limited edition of 100 plus 10.
