In 2014 Puiforcat asked second year students to create their rendition of the iconic beaker and bring a new light to the concept. Leo Dubreil designed the winning piece, this sterling silver Cognac Beaker which is round for delicate handling with a narrow opening that allows flavors to drift freely. Once the cognac enters the glass, the gold interior transforms to an exciting shade of red. The beaker rests on a base that doubles as a lid when it is not being used.
