The Saint-Louis Amadeus Champagne Flute brings the Amadeus vocabulary to champagne service with a tall, narrow bowl that preserves effervescence and concentrates the wine’s aromatics toward the rim. The Champagne Flute is mouth-blown and hand-cut at the Cristallerie Saint-Louis in Lorraine, with the bowl, stem, and foot each shaped separately before being assembled by hand. A subtle ring detail at the stem’s upper junction provides a quiet moment of visual structure. As with every Amadeus piece, seven artisans contribute their expertise over a three-day production process, and the glass thins near the rim in the manner that Saint-Louis describes as following the glassblower’s breath as it lightens toward the end of the exhalation.

The Amadeus collection takes its name and spirit from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, whose music achieves an impression of effortless beauty through extraordinary discipline and craft. Saint-Louis conceived the collection as a parallel: forms that appear to have arrived at their elegance naturally, concealing the virtuosity required to realize them. Amadeus is produced at the Cristallerie Saint-Louis in Saint-Louis-lès-Bitche, Lorraine, the oldest crystal manufactory in Europe, which has held the title of Royal Cristallerie since 1781.
