The Saint-Louis Galerie Royale Louis-Philippe Tumbler is a clear crystal tumbler honoring Louis-Philippe I, the last King of France and the Citizen King whose reign transformed Versailles into a museum dedicated to all the glories of France. Each mark on the crystal is reminiscent of the artistic and historic inspirations that defined his reign — a period characterized by classicizing ambition and a new civic relationship with France’s royal heritage. The base is stamped with Louis-Philippe’s monogram and the Palace of Versailles x Saint-Louis seal.

Every piece in the Galerie Royale collection is mouth-blown and hand-cut by master artisans at the Cristallerie Saint-Louis in Lorraine. The cuts on each piece are individually designed to reflect the artistic and historical character of the reign it honors, and their execution demands the precision that Saint-Louis’s artisans are uniquely positioned to deliver. The base of each piece is stamped with the sovereign’s monogram and the Palace of Versailles x Saint-Louis seal. True masterpieces, these pieces are handblown with meticulous attention to detail by highly skilled artisans.

The Galerie Royale collection is the result of a collaboration between the Cristallerie Saint-Louis and the Palace of Versailles — a relationship rooted in the letters patent signed at Versailles in 1767 by Louis XV himself, conferring on Saint-Louis the title of royal manufactory and making it the official supplier to the French court. The Kings’ Hall collection, launched in 2019, presents four clear crystal tumblers honoring Louis XIV, Louis XV, Louis XVI, and Louis-Philippe I — the four kings who most decisively shaped Versailles. Each mark on the crystal is a reminder of the artistic and historic inspirations that defined the corresponding reign, and together the four tumblers tell a journey through history that brings the palace’s kings to any table. Established in 1586, Saint-Louis stands as Europe’s oldest crystal manufacturer, holding the title of Royal Cristallerie since 1781.
