The Galerie Royale collection is the result of a collaboration between the Cristallerie Saint-Louis and the Palace of Versailles — a relationship rooted in the letters patent signed at Versailles in 1767 by Louis XV himself, conferring on Saint-Louis the title of royal manufactory and making it the official supplier to the French court. The Kings’ Hall collection, launched in 2019, presents four clear crystal tumblers honoring Louis XIV, Louis XV, Louis XVI, and Louis-Philippe I — the four kings who most decisively shaped Versailles. Each mark on the crystal is a reminder of the artistic and historic inspirations that defined the corresponding reign, and together the four tumblers tell a journey through history that brings the palace’s kings to any table.
