Saint-Louis Royal Votives

The Saint-Louis Royal Votives collection encompasses the small and medium votives of the Royal range, each inspired by the crystal elements of the Royal chandeliers. Votives hold a tea light or small candle and concentrate the candlelight through the Venetian-rib crystal surface, creating a miniature chandelier effect on the table.

Every piece in the Royal collection is mouth-blown and hand-cut at the Cristallerie Saint-Louis in Lorraine. The candelabra are assembled from multiple crystal elements — each individually blown and cut — in the same manner as the maison’s full-scale chandeliers. The cups, bowls, and centerpieces feature a pierrerie cut (also known as a large diamond) applied by hand. The boxes feature a clear crystal base with Venetian stripes and a lid adorned with clear hexagonal crystal. The vases and votives are directly inspired by the Venetian-rib crystal used in the Royal chandeliers, produced as miniatures of that tradition. Each piece can be customized in size, style, and color for an extra touch of exclusivity.

The Royal collection was introduced in 2015 as a systematic translation of Saint-Louis’s most iconic and bestselling category — its chandeliers and candelabra — into a family of decorative objects for the table and room. The first Saint-Louis chandeliers appeared in the mid-19th century, and the Royal collection draws directly from that vocabulary: the Venetian-rib crystal of the chandelier arms becomes the body of the Royal vases and votives; the bobèches — the crystal wax-catchers of the chandeliers — inspire the cups, bowls, and boxes; the pierrerie cuts of the chandelier pendants define the decorative language throughout. A single Royal chandelier offers over 50,000 configuration possibilities, and the table objects of the Royal collection share that spirit of customizability: each piece is available in multiple sizes, styles, and colors.
