The Tropo 7-Light Chandelier expands on the collection’s sculptural language, offering a more expressive and dimensional composition. Perfect for larger dining rooms or living areas, it creates a focal point with ambient warmth.
Named for the ancient Greek “tropos,” meaning to turn or change direction, Tropo translates the artistry Michelin-starred chefs cherish in Hering Berlin porcelain into illumination. Designed by Stefanie Hering, the collection’s tubular forms in two sizes sit atop a curved triangle base, their appearance shifting with every viewing angle to create sculptural room settings. Translucent, velvety bisque porcelain shades emit a warm ambient glow, while a separately switched downlight provides focused illumination for plates or centerpieces. Table lamps feature a three-setting light module that combines spatial and directed light, balancing the timeless grace of a dining-room candelabra with modern functionality. Available as chandeliers, table lamps and wall mounts, Tropo creates adaptable lighting atmospheres tailored to each occasion. Bespoke solutions are available.
All pieces in the collection are UL certified and designed for the modern functional home. Stefanie Hering’s vision is realized in collaboration with Studio M, whose role brings the latest lighting technology and technical expertise to the collection, ensuring dependable function and electrical precision while keeping the focus on Hering’s design intent.
Stefanie Hering x Studio M Lighting
Led by Berlin-based master ceramicist Stefanie Hering, founder of Hering Berlin and creator of the iconic Ray Dance lighting collection, this collaboration extends her singular approach to porcelain and glass into a new chapter of lighting design. Light is not simply emitted but guided through the material, with bisque porcelain and mouth-blown glass becoming sculptural forms that create atmosphere, warmth, and presence in any space. Brought to life with Studio M's technical expertise, each piece realises Hering's vision of material, proportion, and effect in natural harmony.Custom colors, configurations, and sizing are available by contacting our team at [email protected].
