Venini Occhi Milk White Vase Square

The Occhi vase from Venini is hand blown in the “Murrine” technique.  One of the most ancient glass techniques,  Murrine dates back to the Roman Ages and reintroduced to Murano in the late 14th century.   Handmade canes are produced and then cut into small pieces and arranged in the specific design.  It is then melted together and molded to produce the final shape.
