Meet MEISSEN

Founded in 1710 as Europe’s first porcelain manufactory, MEISSEN has shaped the art of the table for more than three centuries. MEISSEN porcelain begins with exceptionally pure kaolin from the manufactory’s own mine, prized for its brilliant whiteness and strength.

Its artisans are known for expressive color, sculptural form, and renowned hand painting, drawing on an archive of thousands of decorations and color formulas.

Each piece bears the iconic Crossed Swords, a mark of authenticity introduced in 1722 and still painted by hand today.
