The Bernardaud Augusta Cereal Bowl is made for unhurried breakfasts of cereal, yogurt and fruit, and works as well for pasta or a light supper. The decoration sits inside the rim, a gold mosaic band edged with two rows of green tiles, so the pattern shows as you eat.

The collection’s name nods to Augustoritum, the Roman name for Limoges, and its geometry to the Art Deco return to classical order. On an everyday piece, that heritage becomes a daily pleasure.

Bernardaud has made porcelain in Limoges since 1863 and remains a family-owned house.

We added a note saying that we were hoping to use them … More for our Christmas Eve dinner if at all possible. On December 23 we got a note that the bowls were ready to ship and Kneen & Co shipped them out next day delivery without charging and without even seeking acknowledgement for helping to make our Christmas Eve with family so special.
