The Bernardaud Augusta Hot Beverage Server pours tea or coffee for the whole table, from a slow weekend breakfast to dessert at a dinner party. Its body is wrapped in a fine gold mosaic between a green border and a geometric frieze in emerald and soft green, with a white spout and handle and a gold-tipped lid.

The server is the centerpiece of the Augusta tea and coffee service, bringing together the collection’s gold grid and frieze on one sculptural form. Its name honors Augustoritum, the Roman name for Limoges, where Bernardaud has worked since 1863.

Each piece passes through many hands before it reaches the table, with the hand present at every stage of production.
