The Bernardaud Augusta Service Plate anchors a formal table, set beneath each course from the first to the last. Covered edge to edge in an interlocking mosaic of emerald, soft green and gold, it is the most richly decorated plate in the collection, and on its own it serves a cake, a cheese course or hors d’oeuvres.
Across the Augusta collection, the mosaic unfolds either as a frieze or as an all-over carpet. The service plate takes the carpet in full, a field of tiles drawn from the cubist geometry and classical motifs that shaped Art Deco design.
Made in Limoges by Bernardaud, a family-owned house since 1863, it sets the stage for a layered Augusta place setting.
